BEing human Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce plans for a 5-star 588-room hotel project in the bustling corporate and commercial center of southern Manila, the capitol of the Philippines.
With the realization of this venture, the long-held vision of BEing human Foundation’s founder, for an NGO to own equity in a hotel venture, and thereby being able to return 100% of profits commensurate to equity to the needy sectors of our global society, will come to fruition. Appropriately, the hotel’s registered name is “SUITES for HUMANITY”.
Detailed planning is now under-way for a 588-room facility with full complimenting services.
BEing human Foundation, Inc. will hold a 30% equity stake in the venture. The remaining majority stake has been taken up by a Filipino Entrepreneur, who shares Jahns’ vision of marrying investors’ and NGO interests for the benefit of creating a continuous funding source for common interests of humanity, as well as for capital growth.
The site occupies a prime position easily accessible from other locations in Manila, adjacent to the SLEX – Southern Luzon Expressway and the main interchange of FILINVEST Corporate City. 20-35 minutes by car from NAIA - Ninoy Aquino International Airport, SUITES for HUMANITY will be the closest 5-star hotel facility in proximity to Laguna, location of numerous economic free zones and industrial parks.
The high-rise state-of-the-art structure is planned as the tallest 5-star hotel in the Philippines with 588 studio rooms and suites. All rooms will offer its guests fabulous views of Laguna de Bay in the southeast, Manila Bay in the northwest, renown for its fabulous sunsets as well as the Makati skyline.
As a long-standing goal of BEing human’s founder, 100% of the profits from the hotel operation commensurate to the equity holding of BEing human Foundation, will be returned to the needy sectors of society through structured programs of the global NGO network. In this manner, BEing human Foundation will be able to fulfill its vision “to achieve greater social equality and a fairer distribution of resources by literally making it our business to improve lives”.
Financing of BEing human Foundation‘s equity portion in the venture will be secured through various banking institutions and organizations, including the World Bank, IFC – International Financing Corporation, Prof. Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as a syndication of International and Philippine Banks. A rate of LIBOR (London Interbank Offered Rate) plus 1% will be required.
